| The Horten Ho 229 V1 Glider is now available to model aviation enthusiasts world-wide through this set of builder's plans. The plan set consist of two rolled sheets and a Builder's Notes booklet that detail a 72" wingspan Ho 229 V1 Glider. This aircraft makes an outstanding glider. With a target weight of less than 36 oz and a total wing surface area of 1,889 square inches (6.45 square feet) you have just over 5.5 oz per square foot. The builder can also purchase the optional rib CNC coordinates to have a laser kit cutter to cut a set of ribs for you. These plans are recommended for builders who have a few kits under their belt. The Builder's Notes contain information that will be helpful to the intermediate builder who has never built a flying wing.
