| The beautiful and majestic Northrop N9M is now available to model aviation enthusiasts world-wide through this set of builder's plans. The plan set consist of two rolled sheets and a Builder's Notes book that detail a 70" wingspan, twin-engine electric, hand launched Northrop N9M with a target weight of 3.1 to 3.5 lbs. It flies great on two Speed 400 motors using inexpensive direct drive props. The battery pack is an 8 cell, 2400 mAh pack mounted in the nose. This is a wonderful flying wing for the beginning and experienced flying wing pilot. The wing has a wide flight envelope -- it has the potential to fly fast and yet slows down for slow and easy trainer-like landings. The high-speed, low pass maneuver is most impressive with this flying wing. You can also order the foam templates and associated information so that a foam cutter can cut wing cores for you. Or, you can purchase the CNC coordinates for the ribs and have a laser kit cutter cut your ribs for you. These plans are drawn for builders who have a few kits under their belt. The Builder's Notes contain information that will be helpful to the intermediate builder who has never built a flying wing.
